Operation Rainbow organizes surgical missions to provide reconstructive surgery to poor children. In addition to providing free surgery, the medical teams pass on skills to local health care workers. Operation Rainbow prides itself on being cost-effective. The average cost per procedure, from pre-op to post-op, the whole thing, is only $200! 10 days to two weeks is typical stay.
